Chris Daughtry

Daughtry announced that they are adding more dates to their tour schedule, and that they will be joined by Nickelback on the rock group’s “Dark Horse” arena tour.

Daughtry will perform live at the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game, officially kicking off The Salvation Army’s 2009 Red Kettle Christmas campaign.

Daughtry will perform this Wednesday, Nov. 11, on the CMA Awards with Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill.

Excerpt from the PopEater interview:

Q: Tell me about your upcoming tour.
A: “It’s a way bigger show than what people are use to seeing. It’s out of control. In the past, we had a few lights here and there, but production on this tour is going to be way bigger. For the fans who have seen us before, we want them to know it’s going to be a very different show. The set is longer because we have two albums to pull from now. Plus, we’re headlining. Our openers Theory Of A Deadman and Cavo are great bands, too. I encourage the fans to come to the shows early and see those bands play.”

Daughtry Announces Arena Tour Comments Off

Daughtry will launch a 36-date U.S. arena tour this fall to support the group’s new studio album, Leave This Town. The opening acts will be main support Theory Of A Deadman and opener Cavo. The upcoming tour will launch October 19 in Topeka, KS before ending the first leg of the tour December 20 in Evansville, IN.
