Vote for the Worst is auctioning some American Idol goodies to raise some money for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. Dave is walking in a Relay for Life event next Friday. Yay!

Hope everyone can help! Auction ends this Friday.

Bo Bice on American Idol Extra to promote his current album See The Light.
Wow, Bo Bice and Anwar Robinson asked the producers in Season 4 if they could play instruments.
Bo Bice had some trouble with his career after Idol, but I hope he can continue to make music for his fans. All these rockers like Daughtry and David Cook wouldn’t have joined Idol if Bo had not shown them the light.

Bo Bice’s new CD “See the Light” comes out October 23.
Bo Bice has seen the light! This is exactly how his first CD should have sounded. Is it too late? Hopefully not. Although I have to suggest that enough of this signing up for the fanclub and other fees in order to get anything from Bo (well I’m being dramatic). His single Witness for example is available for download after you pre-order the CD from Walmart — why not just sell the single? Why force the fans to pay for the entire album just to own the single?
Anyway, here are the previews from Bo’s MySpace — they’re good!

Revisionist Idol: Season 4 results — rock the vote (USA Today)
The Idol Chatter blog on USA Today has been running “Revisionist Idol” polls for past Idol seasons and the results are:
1. Bo Bice
2. Carrie Underwood
3. Constantine Maroulis
4. Nadia Turner
5. Vonzell Solomon
6. Anthony Fedorov (got a lot of first place votes, but a lot of last place votes as well)
(Clay Aiken also won Revisionist Idol by a landslide.)

Bo Bice’s official website is now posting Bo’s video podcasts for free.
This is good news since I’m such a cheapskate and refuse to pay member dues. LOL

Bo Bice’s debut album features songs by Jon Bon Jovi and Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger, and Grammy Award-winning Producer of the Year John Shanks. Has anyone listened to this yet? I still have to get my copy today.
Bo Bice: The Real Thing – on Amazon.com
Update: Okay, listened to everything. (Thanks guys for all the comments.) This is decidedly a pop album. Bo Bice fans looking for an edgy rock sound will be severely disappointed. I don’t know what to say. I guess pure Bo Bice fans will love it, but it seems to me that some tracks on this album can be sung by the Backstreet Boys in a heartbeat. I was really surprised. My favorites songs (haha) are: "You’re Everything", "Remember Me" and "Valley of Angels".
Bo Bice – Inside Your Heaven (on Amazon.com)
Bo Bice – Iinside Your Heaven (on iTunes)
Also: Some fans are a little competitive, which is ok, but its getting a bit old for me. Whether or not Bo outsells Carrie shouldn’t be the point of Bo’s music. Bo and Carrie are not competing against each other anymore when they sell their albums. They are competing against the entire music industry. Carrie Underwood will have an easier time satisfying her so called country-pop audience. Bo Bice on the other hand, needs to sing something other than Inside Your Heaven to contend in "rock" his supposed genre. He’s already collaborated with Bon Jovi’s Richie Sambora, so let’s hope that’s good.
