Taylor Lautner raced Jimmy Fallon on mini motorcycles on Late Night last night. Taylor crashed twice, but he sprinted to the end. Go Team Taylor!

Ryan Seacrest says that Robert Pattinson’s publicist cut him off during an interview with The Twilight Saga: New Moon star last night because he asked a question about “Robsen” (the rumored Pattinson / Kristen Stewart romance). I think the publicist was just in a hurry to get things moving along since she signaled “2 questions” only when Rob entered the booth.

Seacrest knows how to ride the wave of publicity. It’s free!

Taylor Lautner was on the Jay Leno Show to promote The Twilight Saga: New Moon which opens this Friday.

He told Jay about his “crazy fan” encounter which involved a 40-year-old mother and her daughter. The mother comes up to Taylor and asks him if there’s “any way he could sign the Team Taylor pant*es that she was wearing.” She then tells her daughter that “this is what we do at these things”

“Our Twilight Moms are passionate,” Taylor said.

I think they’re scary.

Will Taylor ever star in another movie again, or will he forever be known as Jacob Black the shapeshifter? There are two more movies I think. We better get used to the Twilight Saga actors plastered all over the place for the next couple of years. With all the hype, I will be shocked if it didn’t make a profit. The first movie had a budget of $37 million and went on to make $ $383,693,368 worldwide. The werewolf special effects might attract a wider audience outside of Twilight’s core audience of tweens (and the tweens at heart, LOL).
