Paris Bennett recently posted that she was “in the studio with Joe Jackson” on her Facebook page. Some are speculating that this is Joe Jackson the father of Michael Jackson. Is this for real?

Paris has released two albums since her stint on American Idol Season 5: “Princess P” and “A Royal Christmas”. Could she be Joe Jackson’s next big thang?

Even if commercial success has eluded her, Paris Bennett arguably still has the greatest audition of all time on the show. Recently, she has been spending time taking care of her baby Egypt.

Will keep you guys posted on what we get!

Princess P Paris Bennett made a video blog for her fans yesterday. She sang a full version of Cowboy Take Me Away which she sang in her audition, one of the greatest Idol auditions of all time.

It’s amazing how some of these guys have gone full circle. Like Danny Noriega who apparently is making YouTube videos and using Twitter for a living (LOL), if I didn’t know that Paris was already on American Idol, I would encourage her to audition after seeing her YouTube clips.

All I can say is thank you Jesus for YouTube and the Internet. Where our Idol favorites can live on forever.

New mother “Princess” Paris Bennett has a new CD: “A Royal Christmas”.

And this is the moment when I LOL: LOL!

Dear Team Paris: This “Royalty” thing is so ridiculous, it’s getting harder and harder for me to take Paris’ music career seriously. I mean c’mon! Look at this CD cover — what’s so royal about it? What are you guys doing???

This has just been a series of bad moves these past 2 years, I’m just going to have to embrace it. I’m doing this for Egypt and her lungs!

I know, I know, we’re supposed to be boycotting Paris Bennett (who is Princess P in her own mind) for publicly dissing Sanjaya Malakar and sabotaging her own career by recording Princess P (All Hail the Princess!). I guess I’ve never really forgiven her for doing that Beyonce-shake on the American Idol tour. Fresh from the news that Paris Bennett thinks Idol is a “joke”, I just discovered that Paris has a duet with none other than Kevin Covais in her upcoming CD. I don’t know how to react. First of all, I’m a big fan of this Paris-Kevin thing from last year, and I tried my best to get Kevin voted into the tour (we failed). But it’s just perplexing now since if Paris thinks Sanjaya Malakar still on Idol is a joke then why associate herself with Chicken Little who many believe was the Sanjaya-figure of last season?

(OMG, Sanjaya’s all over the map right now, I can’t believe I’m actually discussing this. LOL)

With Paris Bennett’s CD landing in stores on May 8th, for Season 5, Idols #1-6 and #8 (#7 has a single) will have put out a CD within a year of the finale. Chris Daughtry is now the fifth best selling Idol-alum of all time behind Kelly, Carrie, Clay and Ruben. Chris will easily pass Ruben in a few more weeks.
