Visitors will be able to sip the non-alcoholic “butterbeer” and “pumpkin juice” at the Hog’s Head pub, go shopping and tour a huge replica of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, just like the one where Harry Potter learned his magic.
Other attractions will include the Dragon Challenge, a twin high-speed roller coaster, and the Flight of the Hippogriff, a coaster for families that will roll along the grounds of Hogwarts.
How exciting!

Daniel Radcliffe, in this interview from Inside the Actor’s Studio, says that he would love to have an erection on stage since he’s constantly battling shrinkage on Equus on Broadway which he calls the “Michaelangelo’s David Effect”.

I watched Equus again last night. Yes, it was still small, but I still loved it.
Richie couldn’t make it due to traffic, so I had to scramble to find a “replacement date”. I called Xeno! Woohoo! It seemed that she had a great time. I was happy to watch the play with her.
Unfortunately, this was the worst audience that I had been in ever. Cellphones were ringing all throughout the evening, it was unbelievable. Even after repeated announcements during intermission to turn off cellphones, not just put it on vibrate, cellphones still went off ringing! Could you believe that? Who are these people? Also: there was non-stop coughing in the audience from beginning to end. It was so distracting. The theater is not the place to cough. It was insane. Beginning to end. The worst audience ever.
It also didn’t help that our seats were not as good as I hoped they were. We were in the back orchestra and we could hear all the ushers whispering, footsteps, candy wrappers, etc. etc. etc. It was a bad night, really.
As far as the performance was concerned, it was not as intense as my first viewing, and not as heavy, surprisingly. I think when you know what the play is about, it doesn’t seem so serious.
Afterwards, I discouraged Xeno to wait by the stage door because there were so many people (and so she has a reason to come back the next time). However, my brother (who also watched last night) waited for me by the stage door, so I ended up taking video of Daniel Radcliffe when he left the theater. (Sorry Xeno! At least I know “where” to wait now.)
I’ll probably watch the play one more time and that’s it. I heard that some guys have been watching this play almost daily — and that totally freaks me out.
Also, I was really tempted to take a video/picture of the “moment”, but the ushers were in full force before the nudity so I chickened out. But the way the audience was so rude last night, I almost didn’t care. Thank god I still had a little bit of self-respect. LOL
Go Daniel Radcliffe!
Here I am being a Rickeyrazzi!

Finally, months after I joined, I was able to attend the I Love Sake Meetup. It was a good way for me to get introduced to the world of foodies — via alcohol. LOL. Anyway, all my Fridays have been full for a while, but amazingly I found a free date so I decided to go. It was fun. My favorite now is unfiltered sake with Sprite.
I promised that I would go home at 11 PM for a “Secret Show” on Rickey TV but since I was a bit tipsy I decided to be brave and pass by “Spring Awakening” (which was a block up from the Meet Up) so I can get a picture with Hunter Parrish. He had some really cool fans waiting for him which was nice to see. They looked like they really loved him.
But apparently, I wasn’t done with my night as I decided to pass by “Grease” which unfortunately did not have a line of fans anymore, and then to “Equus” where all of Broadway seemed to gather every night. The crowd was huge for an after show autograph line. Daniel Radcliffe is a popular guy! I couldn’t even see him. I took a video of me shouting out for “Harry!”
When the crowds dispersed, like the parting of the Red Sea, who did I find in front of the theater ogling at her pictures? Xeno!!! Hahaha. I called out to her and she screamed. She was with her friend Perla, and we kinda decided to visit the “Equus” line every Friday. LOL. We had a really long chat afterward — about an hour! So much gossip in the David Archuleta and Daniel Radcliffe universes.
Now I know what I’m up against at the “Equus” line, I know what to do. Be early and no mercy. LOL
Sake, Hunter Parrish, Xeno at Equus, Secret Show. Life is still good.

I watched Equus starring Daniel Radcliffe tonight! Yay!
I had the best seats in the house. Row 4, dead center. Couldn’t have bought a better pair of tickets!
Equus is a very intense and serious play. The subject matter was quite dark — so I liked how Richard Griffiths injected a lot of humor in his delivery to lighten the mood. The staging was great, and the horses (these guys wearing metal horse heads and hooves) were imposing. I really liked it. At first I thought that maybe I wouldn’t be able to stand a second viewing of this (I have tickets in October), but after seeing it in full, I think I might be able to survive it again.
The audience was comprised mainly of gay men I have to say. I wonder if this trend will continue throughout the run. Also, there were Harry Potter groupies waiting outside to see Daniel Radcliffe at the stage door. I think I just might join them one of these days so I can get a photo-op with Daniel Radcliffe… *excited*. (I might just revive my “In the Heights” lottery project in the process).
Finally, for those interested in knowing how Daniel Radcliffe’s pee-pee looked like, here’s the SPOILER from my eye-witness account from the fourth row:

Daniel Radcliffe won an award for Equus, then has a long manly kiss. *gasp* All the little girls around the world (including me) are scandalized. What? What’s happening? Is that normal in England?
