Yes!

Holy time-traveling island Locke! Awesome. Things kinda make more sense if you imagine some of the characters in the series moving through time and memories, instead of the characters “remembering” events in a flashback or flash forward. These characters travel back and forward through time to influence what is currently happening in real time. It’s all falling into place.

I can’t wait for the next episode! I love Lost!

I just want to thank all the fans for their enthusiastic support for the Faneshas here in Rickey.org.

We now have 5 active Fanesha members! toyin, JohnCarrie, tantraflower, Isaac and Rickey

In my efforts to find details of Syesha Mercado’s homecoming in Sarasota, Florida this Friday, I discovered some fans in the Scary Boards and IDF. There are about 38 fans on the Scary Boards and they call themselves the Syclones. I counted about 20 fans in IDF (maybe more) and they call themselves the GhostWhores — don’t ask, long story — as far I know, they don’t exist. First rule of GhostWhores: you do not talk about GhostWhores.

So give or take — okay, give — that’s about 100 “known” fans of Syesha Mercado. And considering we were within 1 million votes of the Davids this week out of 51 million votes, that’s about 100,000 votes per person for 2 hours. Beat that Cookies and Arch Angels! We are voting professionals. Are you guys scared now? You want shock elimination? We’ll give you shock elimination. Fear the FANESHA!

David Archuleta’s “Love Me Tender” is the #1 song in our Morning After iTunes charts for the American Idol Top 4, breaking David Cook’s stranglehold at the top position. Thank our lucky stars Angels that it was the poorly chosen “Hungry Like The Wolf” and not “Baba O’Riley”! LOL

“Love Me Tender” is at #31 on all of iTunes while “Baba O’Riley” by The Who is at #42 and “Hungry Like The Wolf” is at #43. I will check later in the day and tomorrow on how far “Love Me Tender” moves up on the main iTunes chart. (Note: #31 is well within the number all the David Archuleta songs land at this time of day — so this tells me that David Cook’s fans were not too enthused with the studio recording today.)

As usual the cash-strapped and iTunes-challenged Faneshas ignored Syesha Mercado en masse and could not be bothered to buy “Proud Mary”. Brooke White’s “I Am… I Said” from last week is selling better than “Proud Mary”.

David Archuleta’s homecoming starts on Friday morning with an appearance in Fox 13’s “Good Day Utah”, then off to Murray High School and then the Utah Jazz game where he will sing the National Anthem!

We will have Archey Angels on the scene! The entire Archuleta Nation is waiting in anticipation for David’s return to Utah. Friday is D-Day!

Anyone waiting for him at the airport on Thursday evening or Friday morning?

The American Idol Top 4 Studio Recordings are now available for download:

David Archuleta - Love Me Tender — I’m a little bummed out that it wasn’t “Stand By Me”. That would have been a hit. The slow “Love Me Tender”, I’m not so sure.

Jason Castro - Mr. Tambourine Man — Ironically, this was the song he forgot his lyrics on (although David Archuleta also forgot the lyrics on his recorded song “We Can Work It Out” a few weeks ago, so its not unprecedented).

Syesha Mercado - Proud Mary — Like all hard-core Faneshas in the world, I did not bother to buy or listen to this, so I have no idea how she sounded. The trademark of a true Fanesha: Stay away from anything that Syesha Mercado records yesterday, today and tomorrow.

David Cook - Hungry Like The Wolf — Could be another hard-sell like “Innocent”, but we’ll see what happens.

Overall, a bit disappointed in the new music that I found in my iTunes tonight. Oh well.
