Due to a shortage of the Swine Flu (H1N1) vaccine, people in Mongolia are turning to “traditional flu remedies” to fight the pandemic such as eating horse meat.
“We do recommend eating horse meat,” said a medical worker, “it has qualities that boost the immune system.”

This week on Flashforward, Mark, Demetri and Gough investigate the meaning behind the Blue Hands and their connection to the visions. Demetri comes to terms with his fate, Nicole still tries to act like a good person and atone for something she hasn’t done yet (work that jesus t-shirt girlfriend), and Aaron gets another piece to the puzzle that is his daughter’s death. This episode is a real doozy and if you were losing faith in this show then you better find it again because it’s awesome. And I’m not just talking about the fact that Joseph Fiennes is shirtless in one of the opening scenes. Really. I’m not.

Grey’s Anatomy starts this week with a medley of beeping pagers, doctors being called to the hospital at 4 in the morning. Meredith’s voice-over explains all the problems that are associated with pages in the middle of the night. Callie, Arizona and Cristina rouse themselves out of bed and rush to the hospital where they’re faced with a pregnant woman who’s been in a bad accident. Arizona calls for a crash c-section as the baby has a brain bleed, and Callie starts to reassemble the woman’s fractured legs.

Fort Hood Shootings Suspect Malik Nadal Hasan Killed 1
News pouring in on the Fort Hood shootings in Texas that left 12 Dead and 31 injured: Major Malik Nadal Hasan, the shooting suspect was killed and 2 of his accomplices, also U.S. soldiers, have been arrested.
An official says investigators are trying to determine if Malik Nadal Hasan was his birth name, or if he changed his name and converted to the Islamic faith at some point in his life. He was an Army mental health professional.

Rue McMclanahan said form her hospital room: “My darlings, I’m just devastated that I am going to have to miss my own tribute at the Castro Theatre. Unfortunately, my doctor has laid down the law, and I’m currently having some maintenance on the old ticker. Trust me, I’d much rather be in San Francisco having fun and being adored by all of you.”
