Pestering and Pushy E-mails from Adam Lambert Fans Might Get Him Off Z103 Radio in Canada 20

Tuesday, February 9, 2010, 09:19 AM in American Idol 8
Tags: , ,

From @adamlambert:

Hey guys!!! I looooove the support and Passion you all put into your radio requests, however Canada’s Z103 is being…

…pestered by too many “pushy” emails. Let’s make sure we don’t bother them to the point where they don’t wanna play my music!! Thanks!

======

Some of these Adam Lambert fans are just awful. They are so bad and probably the worst in American Idol history. Adam does not deserve these fans at all. The problem of these pestering and pushy fans must have gotten so big for Adam to tell them off (in his own nice way of course). Can you believe that? I’m not making this up. You can check Adam’s twitter to verify that he wrote this. I don’t think his account has been hacked.

These fans just have to stop because they are ruining Adam’s career before it has fully blossomed. Apparently, this is not the first time rabid Adam fans have pissed off a radio station. A few weeks ago, Adam wrote a similar tweet. In fact, during the Summer, Adam himself told off his fans that “entitlement is not sexy.”

Fans bothering a radio station to the point that they won’t play Adam Lambert’s music? What kind of fans are those? So awful and disgusting. And with my own experience of being harassed on Twitter, they are foul-mouthed.

I am glad that Adam himself has spoken out against these fans because they have been running amok for months now. Do they really go from website to website leaving random comments about Adam Lambert? Do they really browse in packs?

Heroes – A Brave New World 3

Heroes A Brave New World 01-2010-02-09.jpg

Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5: Redemption) ended. Apparently, there might be a fifth season of the show since last night’s episode ended with a “To Be Continued…” If it does get renewed, the title will be: “Volume 6: A Brave New World”.

I think the show will be cancelled. The ratings have been so low already. However, since NBC doesn’t mind losing a lot of money to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars (see Winter Olympics), there is still a chance we will see a brave new world on Heroes by the end of the year.

As for my thoughts on tonight’s episode, I thought it was good. Closure is satisfying, even if you are left with an “all that for that?” feeling. I’m not even that disappointed that they’ve made Sylar a caricature of a character in the end. I LOL’ed when he said “I’m a hero.”

Will Heroes be renewed? What do you guys think?

Santino Rice RuPaul Drag Race 01-2010-02-09.jpg

RuPaul’s Drag Race 2 featuring Santino Rice in a hat with some zipper-thingy on the side. What was that?

After the catfight between Morgan and Mystique last week during “untucked”, tonight’s episode was very tame. Though the queens had their differences, I found that their arguments were civil and not personal. I guess the most volatile personalities in the group are Mystique and Tyra — so let’s hope that Ru puts them in a situation where the sparks fly again. LOL.

I also noticed that during “untucked” — the queens are given alcohol — obviously to “loosen them up”. Nice one Ru.

Adam Lambert Tells His Fans To Stop E-mailing Z103 Canada 80

Adam Lambert Fans 01-2010-02-08.jpg

From @adamlambert:

…pestered by too many “pushy” emails. Let’s make sure we don’t bother them to the point where they don’t wanna play my music!! Thanks!

======

Notice that Adam Lambert used the word pestered and pushy. I’m not making this up. You can check Adam’s twitter to verify that he wrote this. I don’t think his account has been hacked.

Again, another major blunder from Adam Lambert. He shouldn’t be calling out his fans like this. I think it’s a slap in the face to be called “pestering” or “pushy” – specially for the fans who have given more than 200% of their support for Adam since the beginning and until now. They are only showing their support for him — and now he wants the fans to stop? Why make radio requests in the first place?

I think it is very uncool for Adam Lambert to blame his fans for his songs not being played on a radio station in Canada. If a radio station doesn’t want to play “Whataya Want From Me” — FOR WHATEVER REASON — that is the radio station’s decision. But don’t tell us that the reason is because of his fans. What if the radio station thinks the songs suck and they just don’t want to play them to keep the integrity of their programming? That is not the fans’ fault who only want the best for Adam. He’s the one putting out the music for radio stations to play, not us.

This reminds me of the “entitlement is not sexy” tweet a few months back.

Howard Stern American Idol Judge.jpg

What? American Idol is really considering Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell? I just died a lot inside. This rumor just got a jolt as The Wrap reports that Howard Stern told his listeners that: “he is considering leaving Sirius – and radio altogether — to become a judge on American Idol.”

“There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that f—ing karaoke contest,” Stern said.

“It might be possible, we’ll see,” he said, adding: “They’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough.”

No no no no no. Fox needs to put up a counter-statement ASAP. I think I know what Stern is doing. However, if it is indeed true that the two parties are negotiating. OMG. (When is The X Factor coming on?)

Tyler Nelson 01-2010-02-05.jpg

Lazy recap of Taking the Stage 2 last night:

Tyler Nelson is such a playa! This time he’s courting Emily Silber one of the dancers in his crew. She knows what she’s getting into, but agrees to go out with him because he’s cute. I don’t blame her, cute trumps a lot of things. Tyler is all-around cuteness. Unfortunately, after Mia and Jasmine last year, she feels kinda third-rate – I am not excited over this at all.

Mia Carruthers came back to the school during the “songwriter’s workshop” to give some advice, and also watch the talent show.

During the show, Adam sings a song for his grandmother who has stage 4 cancer — which was very sweet. I was touched.

And that’s it!

Sigh. What is this show turning into? Where’s the drama from last season? The show is making Adam the focus of the story at the moment, and all I want is Mia and Tyler. Hope it gets better.

RadarOnline reports that American Idol contestant Casey James has a “criminal background” and served time in county jail for offenses of driving while intoxicated, driving with an invalid license and reckless driving.

Oh no! The independent smear campaigns have begun. These offenses however occurred on November 2001 and December 2002 – when he was barely in his 20s. Maybe he was a troubled youth, and people change right?

I like Casey. His shirtless audition was very memorable.

Do American Idol producers really want Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell? 12

Friday, February 5, 2010, 02:40 PM in American Idol 9
Tags: , ,

The NY Post says that “American Idol producers are eager to hire Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell as the show’s tough-talking judge”.

Woah. Not a good idea. I hope it’s not true.

“An insider said that producers of the hit Fox show say Stern, America’s highest-paid radio personality, is their top choice to take over from Cowell, who leaves at the end of this season. They approached the King of All Media after he repeatedly mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January and he was open to other offers.”

Actually sounds like a publicity stunt by Howard Stern. Good job because it got everyone talking this morning.

Project Runway Recap 01-2010-02-05.jpg

This week’s challenge on Project Runway 7: Design a look for the fashion week gala of the American Heart Association. It must have the color red. It must have the branding of Campbell’s Soup — tonight’s sponsor.

First of all, I miss Ping Wu. This season is not the same without her. These designers better bring it for the next few weeks because it’s all of a sudden not as entertaining without her.

Secondly, though I abhor the blatant sponsorships that have been going on this show for the past few seasons, I didn’t feel so bad this time around. It’s for a good cause, so I’m not complaining. However, it also took the mean judging down a notch. Since the models were “heart ailment” survivors, I think it was kinda hard for the judges to say that they flat out looked horrible in the dress their designer made for them.

Finally, I think I’m psychic. The show didn’t even hide who would leave tonight, or maybe that’s just me. Was it obvious to you guys?

The lazy recap:
